Missing Frames in mpeg-1

Hi all
After rendering a movie to mpeg-1 using the mainconcept plug-in; The end result has the correct length of audio but the last 2 seconds or so of the video is missing. I've tried 'render loop region only' but still the same result. The length of the file I'm trying to render has no bearing.
Anyone had this problem?
Thanks in advance

What i've found is that usually the entire file is there, but most players seem to have trouble with the first couple seconds and the last couple seconds. I always include a few seconds of black/silence at the beginning & end when i encode to MPEG. It adds very little to the file size, and it also gives the person viewing the clip a chance to zoom the player window before the video starts.

This is especially helpful when projecting videos on the big screen in our church sanctuary. I can zoom the video to full screen before switching it to the projector, and still have the beginning of the video displayed. Likewise, i have a few seconds at the end to switch back to the monitor so that the congregation doesn't see the player at the end of the video.

Thanks Chienworks, but the missing frames are definately missing. After rendering, I import the mpeg back into vegas, and the audio extends further than the video on the timeline.
vegas reports (for example)....
audio = 1m.20s. (as it should be)
video = 1m.10s. (10s. missing)!
It's also progressive with the length of video I try to render. ie.
The longer the video, the more frames dissappear at the end.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers
