Missing Icon

Just upgraded from VMS Platinum 9a to 9b. No problems with the program but on my windows screen the icon for the program is the default windows one not the VMS icon.

When I go into properties it states that the icon file cannot be found.

No big issue but wonder if this is a fault with 9b. Has anyone else found this.

Try re-installing 9b.

This is an often seen thing in Windows. On my machine the icons from many programs and from internet shortcuts come and go at will.

Soloution: just create a new shortcut: go down the path thorugh C:\Program Files - Sony - Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 - etc until you come to VegasMovieStudioPE90.exe and then draw it with the right mousekey pressed to where you want the shortcut and click Create Shortcut Here.
This way makes a much more "windows proof" icon for your shortcut :-)
