Missing NewBlue AutoContrast plug-in

I've been using Movie Studio since Vegas Video 3.0. Along the way I have upgraded from Movie Studio 10 to 13, 14, 15, and 16. I recently had to reinstall everything. I upgraded to Movie Studio 17 Platinum, at the same time. l. When I attempt to edit a previously created .vf file, I get a message that the following plug-in is not on the system. SVfx:com.NewBlue.MSPPSAutoContrast. I have discs for Movie Studio 10, 13, 14, 15, 16. I have tried re-installing them (and the plug-ins on them). Still not found. I have verified that I have NewBlue Elements, Essentials, Stylizers, TitlerPro2 and Transitions are installed. Where can I find NewBlue AutoContrast? I use it a lot. Thanks.

@John-Bank Don't you see it in the Video FX tab under the Third Party tab?

Check that the bundles you mentioned are located in the 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins' folder.

Did you purchase this bundle 'NewBlue Elements, Essentials, Stylizers, TitlerPro2 and Transitions' separately or were they bundled with an early version. If the former, they should be there. If the latter, due to licensing, you may not be able to use these in VMS17. If someone knows different, I'll stand corrected.

There is no bundle with those names. For example Movie Studio 16 Suite came with "NewBlue Supreme Package". I have no idea what bundles were included in that package, let alone what plug-ins were included in those bundles. I'm trying to work backwards given a plug-in name to find out what bundle and thus what package it came from. All I can tell you is that I have used the AutoContrast plug-in for years.

No help for the NB FX but if there's no way to recover this particular one you could try using SeMW Auto Levels instead. It should do almost same thing.

New Blue Auto Contrast is included with New Blue Essentials 3 Package, but if my other NLEs are anything to go by, you might not be able to add the package to MS17, I am unable to add the package to MS16, and New Blue have no interest in resolving the issue
