Missing Veg File

Revisited project to update for client.
Was done in V5 six months ago. But when I tried to open veg file in V6 it doesn't open.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I click on veg file and one track opens on timeline.
No messages. Just empty track.

That certainly sounds very strange....

You say you see one track on the timeline.... that would seem to indicate that is has opened the veg file....

Do you have any other version of that Veg file lying around Such as a .bak file? Vegas creates *.veg.bak files automatically... and you should see something like that lying around.

Not that it helps now... but what I always do is to create multiple versions of my Vegs. As I am working on a project I will save new versions every few hours (or at least every day). That way... if something REALLY bad happens to the veg file you can at least roll back to a prior known good version.

Your only resort now may be to send the Veg file off to Sony for them to have a look at it.
