Mixing Console scroll bars?

I've just upgraded to Vegas Pro 20.0 from a version several years old. One of the first things I noticed was the lack of a horizontal scroll bar on the Mixing Console below the scribble strips. I see left and right scroll arrows but that's much slower than grabbing a bar. Is there a setting to get it back?

The mixing console has been horribly neglected over the last few years. We actually have worked on cleaning this up, so it should be in good shape again when the next VEGAS Pro 21 update comes out. Sadly, that will not help you for VP20. Most of the problems in this window are due to high dpi issues...one option could be to turn off the high dpi support in the display preferences.

+1

Still use it a lot for riding gains on live recorded events.

Would doing that bring back the scroll bar?

@jmpatrick I believe the bar is there. If I'm lucky, I can click on the bar and scrub it back and forth. It's just that the bar is so dark it matches the background. Well, changing to a lighter interface didn't help, the bar is still invisible.
