I'm having a little problem understanding the mixing
process in Vegas, and was wondering if anyone could
enlighten me.

What I'm having problems with is the FX sends.

I know how to insert FX and such, but working with these
correctly seems to be beyond me at the moment.

* Do I set set the FX send at PRE volume fader, put the
send level to the maximum, tell the plugin to have 100%
wet, and then adjust volume with the FX Bus?

* Do I set the FX send at POST volume, and in doing this,
does adjusting the volume slider give only dry signal?

i.e. Lets say a Waves RCL compressor, or a TC Reverb.

Any explinations/tips would be greatly appreciated.

this, or how much Vegas sucks. (I like it.)
