MJpeg with Intensity Pro

trying to vet this Intensity Pro card. How do I set it to capture in MJPEG? I started capturing a video and after about a minute, had used over a GB. Obviously I'm grabbing uncompressd video @ 75.xxGB / hour.

Can't find a way totell it to capture in MJPEG.

Help, please.

Are you capturing SD or HD? HD at 75 GB per hour seems about right for MJPEG, depending on bitrate of course. Keep in mind it will be larger than HDV or AVCHD, as it is less compressed.

I always capture using the Intensity Media Express utility. Under "Edit" > "Preferences" you can set "Compression Type." I've never tried to capture with the Intensity in Vegas.

If you select the captured file in the Explorer window in Vegas, it will tell you what codec Vegas will use to decompress the file.
