MM tag delete confirmation?

Hi all,

I just reinstalled Vegas 6 and am starting a project using Media Manager. I went to delete the default tags, and it threw up a confirmation on deletion (with a checkbox option not to see that screen again). Well, thinking I'd turn it off temporarily to get rid of all the defaults quickly, I checked it. Now my deletion confirmation is gone, and I've already had an incident where I deleted a tag, which of course removes that tag from all the clips which contained it.

I have looked high and low to reinstate the confirmation. I really don't want to reinstall Vegas again. Can I reinstall MM after saving a backup of my current library?

After some forum searching, I'm discovering that I may be one of the few that likes MM... I do. But this is not cool software behavior to be able to accidentally press a delete button and lose much work. Any ideas? Maybe a reinstall is worth it.

I FOUND THE ANSWER! Yes, I'm extremely pleased, as I stumbled on it accidentally as I was cleaning out the folder that holds the prerenders... Nearby I found this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Sony\Media Manager\MediaManagerConfig.PerUser.xml

I right clicked on this, chose edit, and it turns out it does store the parameters related to the user config of the Media Manager. I simply changed the "false" to "true" in the line that looks like this:
<ConfirmTagDelete>false</ConfirmTagDelete>
Save. Start Vegas and voila!

Now I get a confirmation when I try and delete a tag. OK, I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but I am so not a programmer...
