I am getting an HV20 very soon. I am going to be filming a music video for an indierock/emo band so I definitely want some artsy look to it. The 24p thing sounds great and all, but I understand about the pulldown you need to do to make it true 24p etc.
Since I'm new to this camera (don't even have it yet), I won't ask specifics cause I don't know enough yet to ask intelligent questions about it.
But if you were going to film a music video, with lots of outdoor footage in wooded areas, lots of slow-mo sequences, and a lot of zoomed in close on an object then shifting focus to objects in the background, what mode would you use, and what properties would you use for editing in Vegas?
I understand there are a lot of options, but I'm just looking for some advice on a good place to start until I have the time to experiment with all my options.
thanks!
Kip
