Modifying audio fail for media object has no effect

I am trying to offer end-users the choice of two soundtracks for the same film.

I have two pages each with media objects pointing at the different chapter points. The first page has references to the first sound track. I made the second page by copying the first page and then trying to modify the audio file the new media objects point to. I select a media object, press Modify, press the Open icon for the audio file, select the alternate audio file, and press Open. When I return to the Media Properties page, the alternate soundtrack is correctly listed, but when I go back to the Object Properties page, the original soundtrack's file is listed (without an extension.)

How do change the audio file associated with a media obejct?

It sounds like you are doing this correctly. How do you go back to the Object Properties page? When you go back, is it possible you're looking at the link that wasn't modified? If you click Modify again, does it still show the correct file in the Media Properties? If you save and open your project, do the object properties still show the incorrect file?

I go back to the Object Properties page by pressing the Up button to take me back to the menu and then reselecting the object. I can't figure out any other way to leave the Media Properties page.

If I click Modify again, the Media properties page shows the correct changed file.

Closing and opening the project has no effect.
