When I overdub a track, I am monitoring a place in the timeline other than where the recording/playhead is located.
As you can imagine, it makes it impossible to overdub. Any ideas of what I should look for. The projects are not that intensive.... maybe 6 or 7 tracks. Sync problem remains even when other tracks are muted.... so it doesn't seem to be an issue of taxing the hardware.
Running W2kPro, 1 gig RAM, 2.4ghz processor, Intel Board.
