OK, I'll try to keep this short.
If I have done a quadrophonic surround mix (L, R, RearL, RearR) and want to bounce it out, I just do a "render as..." and select "mono (all busses)", right? Apparently not. Then I just get a regular stereo mix.
If I, however, insert a few busses and set them to be surround busses, I suddently get the full monty. Left, Center, LFE, you name it. If I remove them again, I get my quadrphonic mix; Left, Right, Rear Left, Rear Right.
Can someone please explain how this works? I honestly don't understand it =)
