I am new here and apologize for my ignorance.
I do a few different applications with Vegas: Live,
Dubbing, Lp-CD etc. I cannot figure out how to edit a
stereo track so that I can edit left and right the same
way. I always see the 2 tracks when I record but I cannot
edit them the same (unless I mix to new track mono.). I can
get real precise with the top channel (L/R?) but if I want
to do the same on the bottom channel I have to be very
extreme. In certain live recording situations I use extreme
stereo mic. techniques and when I dump it into the computer
i would like to edit only one channel without going mono.
Or like pro-tools see both left and right in one line, not
seperated. Is this possible? I am sorry if this makes
little to no sense. But, I would realy appreciate some
insight.
Thank you for your time,
