More than one clip. . .learning exercise

DVDA Pro 5.0a. Making a simple DVD, two picks from the Main Menu that each go to a short training video. I have been rendering both training videos to one clip and use the start/end point to play the appropriate segment. Works fine.

At the end of each of these clips I want to run short credits. They are the same. I have spent some time, and read the Help, trying to figure out how to have another video played immediately after the end of each clip. I actually think I could do that with the end action (although there might be a delay) but I haven't figured out a way to put the video on the DVD so I can reference it from the End of the clip and yet NOT have it as a pick in a submenu or something.

This isn't a huge deal, but it is something that might be more important in a future project and I'd like to know if someone has a suggestion.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Wayne

I think the smartest move would be to add these end credits in your video editing program (Vegas, for instance) rather than trying to tag them onto a video in DVD Architect.

DVDA really isn't meant to be a video editor, and it's certainly not very versatile at creating credit rolls. You'll do much better if you load completed movies into it and just use it for authoring the DVDs and creating menus.

Thanks for the info Steve. This is all out of Vegas Pro 8, so it's simple to do as you suggest. I was just using this as a reason to see if there was some trick to be learned :-) DVDA does a good job, but it still doesn't seem as polished and agile as Vegas or Sound Forge.

Thanks again!

If you want to add a clip to a project without it appearing on a menu just drag it to the disc icon at the top of the project window.

I tried that quickly and will have to come back to it. After I did it, it seemed to mess up the menu actions. I'll go back to it when I have more time. Thanks for the pointer!
