More Vegas 7: VidCap changes

I would like the Video Capture app's Options | Preferences | Disk Management to be settable on a per project basis.

When I open up a sfvidcap file from a previous session, I would like the files I capture to go to the same place on the disk as the ones I originally captured. As currently implemented, if I've captured for a whole new project in the meantime, the new captures for the old project will go into whatever directory I specified most recently.

It would be nice if the default path for creating a new directory could be specified as a preference, rather than always starting in My Documents.

Couldn't agree more, major source of frustration.
I work on mutliple projects for multiple clients, switching between them upto several times per day, so having each project keep it's own set of defaults would be a simple to implement huge benefit, well to me at least.
There's an even more basic issue, you save the project into x:, render out to y: and then hit Save As and golly gosh, the default Save As folder is y:. Maybe I've got a different mindset to the guys in Madison but I like to keep projects in one folder and clips in another!
Some of my audio projects have run to close to 1000 projects and clips, the number of mouse clicks, time and RSI that could have been avoided.....
