I just saw the new documentary on The Who that just came out and it's great.
It was filmed after John Entwistle's death, so the new interviews are just Roger and Pete. However, that also probably allows them to talk more honestly about John. It's very well done and any Who fan will love it. It benefits from the fact that The Who's anagers wanted to make films so they took a lot of footage from from early on, there's even footage of them of them when they were the Detours. (Before they became The Who and then the High Numbers and then back to The Who.)
I haven't watched the bonus footage disc, but the documentary ends with a great little editing trick. It's a montage of The Who singing My Generation from various concerts throughout their history. It's like a single music video, but the sound quality, clothes, hairdoes, etc keep changing. It's an overview of the band's history in three minutes. The audio editing is probably the best part of the montage.
