Hi everybody. just a quick question..... i have this project of mostly stills that i have subdivided into three segments (3 separate veg files). i intend to render each segment and then assemble all 3 rendered segment into one complete project. My question.... if i apply motion blur while rendering each segment, do i use motion blur again to render the complete and final avi? or do i not use motion blur until the final render? Or do i use motion blur on each segment and not use it in the final render? i am just not sure how it might turn out....might as well ask the experts. thanks to all responses!!!

If you use the motion blur twice then the effect will be doubled. If you don't want it doubled then use it only once. As far as whether you use it on the first renders or the final render is pretty much arbitrary. I can think of only one scenario that might indicate a preference. If you plan on doing final renders to multiple different formats (MPEG2 for DVDs, WMV for web streaming, AVI for printing to tape, etc) then you'll probably want to use motion blur on the first renders and get it over with. That way you won't have to wait for the extra rendering time as you do each final render for each output format.
