Notin prticular, but how about getting some fabric and a fan. Connect the fabric loosely to four corners. Have the fan blow at the top and bottom surface.

Kelly, what a brilliant way to illustrate the effect of height and displacement maps. If it isn't giving away any "trade secrets", how do you create your animated texture maps?

this is another one which i would point people to Particle Illusion.. i have many clients of differeing backgrounds, and to them their flags are VERY implrtant (especially serbs and croats)
Anywyas, for their weddings, i usually create a colour "light streak" effect... pretty amazing stuff considering its al done in realtime and i an animate every nuance of it..

I would rcomend PI to anyone interested in creating their own motion backgrounds. Its an invaluable tool, and the SE version is less than a hundred bux...
