I am considering upgrading my Boris FX7 (an upgrade from Vegas 5) to FX8 with one thought in mind. Can anyone comment on this: If I set video on one track with Gaussian Blur, then copy a track above (below?) it set for motion tracking, can anyone comment on using the tracking function to move a region without blur--e.g., the subject's face? If so, this would enable a subject in a scene to have a sharp face and blurred background--which moves with her as her head moves slightly. Depth of field.
