motu 2408 mkIII recording problems

i finally got my drivers to show up under winME. dont really know what i did, it just worked all of the sudden. but now, i cant get vegas to see the 8 analog inputs as separate inputs. all i get for options for recording are "1-8 left" or " 1-8 right". kinda weird. anybody have any suggestions?

You need to set up the MOTU console for using the appropriate inputs, and in mono routing mode (tick boxes, etc).

Also you may need to click a box that says something to the effect "Compatibilty with Classsic Windows MME applications).

If it's anything like the Mk1 or Mk2 .

The manual covers all this, but it's also pretty intuitive ..

i figured out all my problems. there are diferent versions on the pci card. if you look on one side, there is a sticker. it will say 1.3 or 1.5. the 1.3 has some known issues with windows. i took it back and got the 1.5 and everything seems to be working well.
