Hey Craig,

I'm using a 1224...The software is the same as the 2408, I
believe.

You have to use the "CUEMIX" software included with the
MOTU card to enable hardware throughput monitoring
properly. Making those routes in the PCI324 console causes
some nasty side effects (loud pops when going into record,
crashes, lockups, etc.).

CUEMIX administrates the throughput monitoring via
software...So, set all of your output banks to "From
Computer" in the PCI324 Console, and then open Cumix to
route inputs-outputs...It's setup just like a small 4-bus
mix desk.
