MOV files from iPhone load with only audio in Vegas 15

Hi there,

I'm using vegas 15 since 17 was unstable when I installed it.

I need to edit an iPhone movie from a client but when I drop it in the timeline there is only an audio track, no video? The video looks fine when played in PowerDVD or any other player.

How do I fix this bug?

iPhone and some Samsung phone footage is Variable Frame Rate (VFR). Many have found that VFR footage is not handled well by Vegas Pro. A common suggestion is to convert your footage to Constant Frame Rate via a utility such as HandBrake. Do a forum search for iPhone and there will be lots of hits, a recent one being:
