movable windows?

Newbie Here, running Vegas 4 on Win XP. Is there a way to detach and move windows around the screen? (such as the preview window, for example) While watching Douglas Spotted Eagle's 4 DVD Editing Workshop, he appears to detach and shift windows around at will. Is it a preferences toggle? many thanks in advance -Dizzy

Vegas manual - page 13, titled "Window docking area" - if you "grab" the handle along the left side of the window you can drag it around.

Hold down the CTRL key during the process described above if you want the window to remain undocked.

If you drag the window outside of the Vegas main window, it will remain undocked as well.
