Move Audio Only to Timeline

Is there a way to move only the audio from a video/audio clip in the media pool to the timeline? To accomplish this, I've been moving the clip as normal, then deleting the video and track it creates. Kind of cumbersome, but it works. Maybe there's an easier way?

Alternatively, is there a way to capture only the audio from DV clip with both audio and video?

Thanks.

Right-Click and drag to the timeline, then choose Audio only.

Vegas Capture does not allow for audio only from DV.

Even better -

1. Define a region in the Trimmer/

- then -

2. Double-click on the BOTTOM HALF of the audio track. Audio only (no video) will be selected.

Double-click on the TOP HALF of the video track. Video only (no audio) will be selected.

This way you don't have to deal with right-draging and drop down menues.

Cheers,
