Move custom render settings?

Hi,

I just upgraded my desktop and would like to be able to move all of the custom render settings I had created on my old Vegas 6 installation - does anyone know how & where these are kept?

Not sure if this is documented so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. They are saved in the respective directories under:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your account>\Application Data\Sony\File Templates

Where <your account> is your account name. Just zip them up and unzip on the new PC and you should be fine (assuming all the same codecs are installed on the new PC).

Note: You might want to zip the existing directory structure up first to save as a backup in case things go wrong (or just set a restore point) since this is not supported by Sony.
