Chienworks suggested I put an area of black at the beginning of my project so I could record it to tape. When I try to move it to the right one section slides into another where splits and FX were made. How can I move the whole thing back approx. 5 secs. to put in the black at the start???? I have tried 'slecting all' and holding down the shift or ctrl key but it doesn't seem to work. In fact holding down the ctrl key and moving (everything) to the right ends up with 'Paste Option',
'One or more events you have chosen to paste contains generated media. What do you want to do. *Create a new copy of the source material * Create a reference to the original meda.' Neither of these options are what I want to do!
I even tried fitting in the black 5 seconds hoping everything would move up. That didn't work either.
