Movie Clip Issues

Has anyone had any problems with DVDA arbitrarily chopping off the end of a movie clip?

Also I had the reverse happen. DVDA completly ignored the out point I set for a clip.

Both of these happen only after DVD Prep. when I preview everything is fine. I wish there were a way to preview the Prapared files. This way I don't burn a flawed DVD.

Also, when I'm rendering out of Vegas 4, I check the box to save the marker info. When O open the file in DVDA the markers are all screwed up. Anyone else have this problem?

You should be able to preview the "prepared" files in anything that can play .VOBs, like a DVD player program such as "PowerDVD". I do this all the time.

Thanks! I didn't know that.

I have never had the problems you have stated, however, perhaps you should burn first
to a DVD+RW or DVD-RW, this way you can view the DVD and if you are happy then
you can write to a "write-only-once disk.

With regards to the "screwed-up" markers...do you mean they are not positioned
at the points you set in Vegas OR they all look very "close" together? If the case
is they are very close together then the answer is that you are looking at the
WHOLE movie in the DVD Timeline.

Sorry for not being more specific. The markers are not located where they were in Vegas.

I used the "M" key to create the markers. This is right. Right?
