Movie Is Black When I "Make Movie"?

I'm trying to render a movie, and when I click "Make Movie" and it gets done, the created .avi is all black with a few white dots that move when the mouse cursor moves (except for the title, I can see that)

I'm creating screen capture movies, and I can see them perfectly fine inside of VMS and in the source movie, but when I "make movie" something happens and I get crap.

Any ideas?

file/ "render as" .avi make sure to highlight all time lines i drag my cursor across the whole length ,sound as well as video.make first then burn.

You shouldn't need to select anything before you render. If you can see the titles but nothing else I'd check that you haven't muted the other tracks.

Ive done that on accident.I muted the audio and burned the movie with no sound. It happens...
