Hi everyone, so I'm having a big issue. I edit all my video on Sony Planium 12.0 and I record video from my Canon t5i. I have always recorded and ejected the SD card and put it into my laptop. I would always open video from the SD card and open it up on the video editor. Recently I opened the video editor and would open the video like always and now every time I want to open a video it doesn't show up. So I click the all files option and my videos pop out. So when I click it to have it brought to the editor it says "this video editor does not support the format". The video is MOV but the thing is I don't have time to convert my video since I work in the news. So what can I do? Do I uninstall the program and re install? Please help!!!

What has changed on your computer from when it worked to now?

Quicktime get uninstalled? Upgrade to Windows 10? Any other changes?

Since you are not editing on a Mac, why are you recording in MOV?

It would be much easier to edit if you recorded in AVCHD.

That won't help with your present problem, but might make things better in future.

The first thing I would try would be to re-install quicktime. It is easy for things to get scrambled during an update or when installing other software.

Hope this helps.

If you are not on Quicktime ver 7.76.80.95, you might want to download it and try it.
