I've been using this program for a while and the lag has become unbearable on the preview screen. I figured since the footage is at 1080p60 that it was having a hard time on my hardware. So I look at the monitoring software to find out the video preview is lagging when Sony Vegas is only using about 26% of my CPU, about 670 MB of RAM, and only 1% of my GPU. I have the preview settings at "Good (Auto)", my "video preview" preferences are set to use the GPU to accelerate video processing and I tried playing with the Dynamic RAM allowance but my videos still get very choppy during transitions and right when playback starts. I've been all around the internet looking for solutions, I've reinstalled Movie Studio, I've changed internal settings and cannot find out why the whole program refuses to use my plethora of available resources. Please understand, this isn't about turning down my preview quality until it works; that is just a band aid. I am looking for real answers to allow Movie Studio to use my beast of a machine (well, semi-beast compared to some rigs, but beast enough!).
