Movie Studio 17 video preview screen goes black

I'm using newly downloaded version of Movie Studio 17.0 build 143 Platinum. I'm trying to start editing a couple of small Gopro clips. My video preview screen goes black after about 1 second of normal playback. The audio keeps running fine, but I can't see the video playback. I have I5-7600K with Win10-64 and 16GB RAM. Video card is that which came built into the motherboard (Intel HD Graphics 630 it appears...motherboard = MSI B250M GAMING PRO LGA). Any help would be much appreciated.

You could try to install the latest drivers for your Intel 630, i.c. driverversion 27.20.100.8673 d.d. 12-08-2020.

On my laptop from signature GOPro HEVC 4K 50p files play without a problem in VMS 17 Pl.

J-V, thanks I did try that, but no change. I think I've found that the videos clips became corrupted after I tested another program on them (Video Splitter 7, which seem to clip the videos just fine, but could not join the segments together when I demo'd their version!!). I think I'm good now and have purchased the full version of Movie Studio 17. Thanks for your response....much appreciated!
