Movie Studio 2.0

Hi, all.
Anybody out there using version 2.0? I'd like to give Screenblast a try, but I'm still running Windows Me and really don't want to have to upgrade everything just yet. Two questions: Is version 2.0 compatible with Windows Me, and what would I be missing out on by going with 2.0 rather than 3.0?

Movie Studio 2 is basically Video Factory 2 with the chroma key Video FX added. Other than that I believe they are identical. You can use this comparison chart from the Sony web site to compare Video Factory 2 to Movie Studio 3 and see what you’d be missing. I used Video Factory 2 with WinMe without any problems so Movie Studio 2 should work fine.

I would also have to say that after upgrading my WinMe PC to Windows XP Home Edition I don’t know how I ever tolerated WinMe. It’s a very worthwhile upgrade if your machine is up to spec. Mine is a P4 1.7Ghz and it actually runs faster than when I had WinMe on it.

Don't forget the third video track! I've seen discussion in other forums about using MyDVD as a cheap AC3 encoder - I don't know if the version included with MS has this option, though.
