Movie Studio Platinum 12--RENDERING ISSUES-HELP!!!

Hello,
I am using Movie Studio Platinum 12--and have been having major issues with rendering for the last few days.
I'm working from a 32 bit windows vista laptop...
trying to render a 6 minute vid in Youtube HD...tried several other options but it renders for 2-3 hours each time and then stops at 93% and says "an error has occurred and need to stop..."

i changed my laptop settings to "high performance" and really not sure what to do further...I have been using this program for a few months and created several similar vids, dont understand what I can do differently.

I have even deleted the end of the video where it stops at the 93% to see if that would change things...it didn't

Sounds like you are running out of hard drive space.

Hi Mandy, I just got started with 12...(upgraded from 10) I had one application hang when rendering some HD, so what I did was to clear all my temp directories, then reboot. After that, I render the same project just fine. Give it a try.

I can recommend a good cleaner if you are unsure of which directories... google Ccleaner, the free one will do just fine.

I can 2nd that with CCleaner but a word of warning; do not use the registry cleaner. I've seen reg cleaners break pc's.

You could also turn off any unnecessary background programs too.
