They are soundtrack files that are included with your program, not a program that you "install." They are not part of New Blue FX.

Do you get an error message when opening the .zip archive? Is the archive corrupt? Do other .zip archives open and extract normally on your machine?

Have you tried downloading the package again?

Yes i was thinking that. Ive downloaded it twice it downloads 100% and i click open when prompted and nothing happens! Theres a zip file on my destop with an internet explorer symbol Its the right size file. It just flashes on and off like it trying to open with the internet.
Do i Open it through Sony Vegas somehow???

How do i open the .zip properly. I was just double clicking it on the destop.

Actually you do. The ability to open .zip files has been included in Windows since XP/2000 days. Double-clicking a .zip file should open up a new window showing you the files contained inside. If that's not happening then either you have a bad file, or something has changed your .zip association to something it shouldn't be.

Ok right i didnt know that but when i double click it on my desktop it goes to open but starts flashing open and closed ive downloaded it twice both times it downloaded fine.
The file itself looks fine in propertys it says its 1.90GB .zip file Opens with internet explorer. Could it be blocked from opening for my computers protection or something???

Download PeaZip and see if that works.

I used 7 zip and it worked fine. thanks

Ive one problem though i accidently changed the File type to SFK file trying to open them and they should be .pca files.
So they should be Sony perfect clarity audio as these where the original files.
how do i change them back as they change sony audio peak because i changed the format for all sfk file.
They play in preview but when i open them in Sony forge audio studio 9.0 the file changes and they dont play.

I know i really dont belong near a computer haha!
I know you right click the file go to propertys and click open with but i cant find the File type format??

If i delete the unzipped file and 7zip the original downloaded file again. Would this be the easy fix???

No you didn't. The .sfk file is created the first time you open an audio or video file in Vegas. Thus you have two files with the same name in the same folder -- the original audio file and the peak file.

Ok thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes you are correct. I was trying to open the .sfk file in Sony sound forge audio studio and i was getting an error. the original file works perfect.
so the new .sfk file is for vegas???

.sfk files contain the peak image data that shows up on the timeline, nothing more.
