moving a pip and applying a velocity envelope

I want to move a pip created with the Plug-in Pac 3D LE across the screen from left to right and to finally settle in the lower right corner. I would like to apply a velocity envelope to the movement so that the pip slows down before it reaches it's finally resting place. If I apply the velocity envelope to the video track that the pip is on it will slow down the clip inside the window. I want only the movement of the window to change speeds not the media inside of it. Can anyone offer me any advice on how to do this? Thanks.

Try adding some additional keyframes. Set a second keyframe somewhere in the middle where you want the speed changed and set the position of the PIP at point. Then you can have move quickly from keyframe 1 to keyframe 2 and slowly from keyframe 2 to keyframe 3 just by varying how far apart the keyframes are.

If you want to use a velocity envelope to change the speed, just render it first and apply the velocity envelope to the rendered clip.

Have you tried the simple solution?
Experiment with the smoothness or the slow settings on the PIP movement.
Open track motion (that's what you're using, right?) right-click on a keyframe and select slow or smooth. See what happens. I know it works and it just might do it for you.
