I have a project with about 40 video clips. Due to some tedious editing required with titles and video overlays on the last clips in the timeline, I edited them first. Now, I want to go back to the beginning of the timeline to do some crossfade overlays.
The problem - when I take a clip and move it to the left over the end of the previous clip - only the clip I have selected moves. Leaving a blank space between it and the following clips (the rest of the clips in the track).
I know I can group clips - but in this case I want to move all the clips left as I create a crossfade between two clips near the beginning of the project, THEN I want to easily be able to take the 'next' clip in the project and do the same ... then the next clip ... and so on.
Is there an easy way to do this that doesn't require grouping / ungrouping / grouping / ungrouping ...etc.?
Thanks!
