Moving event on timeline

I forgot how to do something. If I have two videos of the same event (wedding), but 2 different camera angles, how is it that you scoot one event by the second to line up with the other track. I thought that it was 1 or 3 on the numeric keypad, but that moves the cursor by so many seconds and the event stays put. I also highlighted the track that I wanted to move, and still no go.

Exactly. Also if you hold the alt key down 1 & 3 will go 1 frame at a time

There's no need to hold the Alt key down when you use the 1 & 3 keys as "one frame at a time" is the default behaviour.

Nope don't work. I clicked on the event, right on where I want to keep my cursor, hit alt 1 or 3 and the cursor jumps forward or backward throughout the event. Hit alt and 3, two or three times and the cursor jumps all the way through a 57 minute event.

Maybe you're misunderstanding. I don't want the cursor to move one frame at a time, I want the event to move 1 frame at a time, left or right, as to be able to sync it up with the other track, because I am using Multi-cam in Excalibur.
