Moving Files to New Computer

When you've changed computer systems, after re-installing your Sony software, are there detailed instructions anywhere explaining exactly which user files/folders should be transferred to the new computer? I have several Sony products, but I'm primarily interested in my Sony Imagination Studio suite of products.

In my User directory/folder, there are several sub-folders with the name "Sony" and it's not clear which folders/files can be safely moved so I can continue access to my old projects, etc.

Thanks!

1. Reinstall and activate movie studio on your new computer.
2. Reinstall and activate any third party plugins.
3. Transfer your existing project and media files to your new computer. Easiest to "Save media with project" first and just move one folder per project.

Just a slightly differing opinion, but i think it's far better and easier to organize your project into one folder first and avoid using the "save media with project" option. This option splits up your media files into lots of audio-only and video-only pieces and renames them all.

Not here, Kelly (Vegas Pro 8.0c). It copies the files with their original names to my new folder along with the project and .sfk files. I don't save trimmed copies.
