Moving the playhead by the L/R arrow is 1 frame only from a certain "zoom" level. Other than it, the arrows are dynamic, some times move even more than one second.
On the shortcut list "Move one frame left/right, Alt+Left or Right Arrow" but on my VMS16p this will jumps to events cuts.
A bug?

Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right moves the cursor to the event edges here (like expected) while Alt+Left/Right correctly moves the cursor 1 frame back/forth.
As I wrote, it all depends on the length of the the time line. when few seconds.. all ok.
assemble a 20+ min project and then test.

Not true. It depends only if you zoomed in or out the timeline. Zoomed out the arrow jumps more than 1 frame, if you use arrow+ Alt it jumps only 1 frame.
You see it on my video from the 12 th second. Total lenght of the timeline or project has nothing to do with it.
