Moving markers

In Vegas 2, you can press "M" to create a marker. For a 60
minute mix, I have 4 dozen markers. How do I move the
markers IN GROUP when I want to insert a new WAV in the
middle of the mix? Having to move dozens of markers is a
royal pain. Surely there has to be a better way?

if you have ripple edit ON .. they will move (slide) ..

easy. Place the cursor where you want to insert your wave
file and hit Insert|Time. Type in whatever amount of empty
time you want to insert and then place your wave file in
the new space.
