Moving markers

Hi, is it possible to move markers with events? ( like with locked envelops).
I got lot of seperate marked events that I want to move a bit further to make more space, but the markers does not move with them.
Is it also possible to copy paste the markers with the events?
( like the envelops)

thanks.

Use Ripple/Affected Tracks, Buses, Markers, Regions (CTRL+F) as one way to accomplish this. If all you're doing is making more room, this is the route I'd take.

Hi, I have turned the ripple button "on"and selected all ctrl+A but when I move the event te markers dont move and when I move the markers the events wont move.

Is it also possible to copy paste the markers with the events?
( like the envelops)

Should I use normale editing tool for this? or the selection tool? to move the events.

This is one of the most confusing aspects of Vegas. Even with ripple editing enabled and "all tracks, markers and regions" (ctrl-shift-F) turned on, you often get very unexpected results.

In re-reading your three posts, I wonder if you have forgotten to enable this feature? As far as I know, the only way to enable ripple edits that will automatically ripple tracks, markers and regions, is to use the toolbar icon. If this icon is not on your toolbar, you will have to edit the toolbar (Options -> Customize Toolbar) to enable it. Once it is on the toolbar, click on the little down arrow next to the icon and select "all tracks, markers and regions." Then, make sure that the icon itself is "depressed." You should then get what you want.

This method will move everything you've selected, and is the only way I've found to move, in addition to markers, etc., the various envelopes you might have associated with your events.

What I wanted to add is "just remember to turn it off when you're done," or else...
