If you set the Ripple Edit mode to either the 2nd or 3rd options then markers will move along the timeline with the clips they pass through. Probably not exactly what you are asking for, but it can help.

I was too scared to post this question :-) I decided there was BOUND to be an answer and I have looked everywhere and there is ZERO way to simply "right click" a marker and click..."Move Marker With Timeline". We need to request this simple feature. At least Vegas is working really well now. I was almost shifting to Resolve.
