Moving Markers with Video Clips?

Markers are great little things that keep my long-form videos visually segmented for easy searching. However, when I insert new video events in-between existing events, I'd like all the markers downstream to move along with their respected video event. As it is now, I have to move all the markers... or insert them only when the entire video is done.

I'm sure there is an option to do this? Can anyone help?

You want to use Ripple Edit mode. It has three modes and one moves the markers with the events. There is an icon for it on the toolbar which controls both on/off and the modes. You cam also turn it on and off with Ctrl+L. I recommend that you turn it on, make your edit, and then turn it off again. Leaving it on can have undesirable affects.
