moving objects

Hey all,

I just converted over to Vegas after 7 years of nothing but Final Cut Pro. I gotta say EVERYTHING that I used FCP for is 110% more intuitive on Vegas.

Except for one thing that I can't seem to find in the manual or any tutorials. That is, how do you select a group of clips (audio and video, which lay on multiple tracks) and move them? I know you can select them individually with shift, but is there a way to just hold down your select button and drag the mouse over the clips you want to select?

Thanks for your input!
Mike

Okay, I just found the "selection edit tool" (doh). Out of curiosity though, does anyone know a way to select all clips to the right or left of the cursor?

To the right is easy. Right-mouse-button click on an even and choose "select events to end" from the pop-up menu. I don't know of any simple way to select events to the left except by dragging with the selection tool.
