Moving Regions

I'm cuting down a 35min. project down to 12 mins.
Is there a way to select a region of 4 or more tracks and move it to a different position? The only way I've bee able to do this is by individualy selecting every clip, copy them an then pasting them in the new location.
Is there a better way of doing this?

Select the events you want in all the tracks > Right-Click on them > Group > Create New, drag a region > Split. now you can drag the "Group" elsware.

To select the events, do you have to Ctrl click on each of them, or do you hilight them with a region?
I don't have access to Vegas right now.

You have to use Ctl or Shift click to select events then group then drag a region.

EDIT;

Looks like all you have to do is drag a region then split as I'm checking, don't even have to group although I've always done it that way.
