Moving the status bar

I hope I can phrase this correctly. One thing I loved about CD Architect 4 was the ability to scan through a song file by clicking anywhere in the waveform. Wherever the status bar was it would automatically hop to the new location where I clicked. I've been trying to do this in CDA 5 and although the status bar moves, the sound continues to play where it was. This means to scan through the song I have to click the rough area where I want the status bar to be, then I have to press the "play" button. This makes it extremely difficult to track my CD. My question, does anyone know how to make the status bar act more like it did in 4.0? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Joe

I agree and I too would like to know.

Even though CDA5 has a lot of improvements, we lost some things that, at least to me, were pretty nice (no waveform color change, more difficult custom fade ins/outs, as two examples).

Regarding your post - when the sound is playing and I place the cursor on another section, I now hit the space bar twice. The first time will stop playing and the second time will resume playing at the point the cursor is now located at.

Hope I understood your question right.

Click in the marker or track layout area - only works when already playing
