Moving the timeline... in VP8

I want the timeline back up on. I like that better. Looking in the help for "layouts" says I can move/change things but the TL doesn't have a little docking "area" in the upper left of it.

how can I move it?

Options - Preferences - Display tab

Uncheck "Display timeline at bottom of main window"

Same as in Vegas 7.
