Moving Vegas Platinum to a New Computer

I have Vegas Platinum on my (older) laptop but I just bought a new Sony laptop from Best Buy. Do I need to buy Vegas Plat again or can I just install it some way on the new computer since the main reason I bought it was for audio and video editing. I have the disk but I don't know if I have the box anywhere with codes or keys on it!

Thanks!

You do not need to buy again. You can just use your installation CD ot even download the latest update for your version number. The updates are full working versions.
Remember to get the FX'es, DVDarchitect etc also.

The urgent thing is the registration codes - but no sweat: you have registered your product and then you can see the codes under My Account, My Software.

You may even keep running versions on both machines - as long as you do not use them at the same time.

Thanks for the info. I found the update page on my account. Since I don't often register my software, I forgot about registering this, except it will not function without it. Now I have to find my original disk. I have it around here somewhere!

Actually, I like the program so well that I would buy it again.

Thanks again for the help!

No need for the original disc. Download the latest version and use your serial number to register & activate it.
