Moving Video Events to another Track

Hi there it's not immediately obvious, but how do you move a video event to another track while still maintaining the start time? On a DAW the usual key is shift and then you can move it up and down with the event locked into the start time, but i can't find the same thing in vegas. Which can it be?

hit 2 (down a track) or 8 (up a track) on the number keypad while the event is selected

Sometimes I will double click the event, then drag and drop it onto another track making sure it snaps to the 'in' marker just created by double clicking. This method can be better if you are moving over a number of tracks...

You can also click the start or end of your video event to place the cursor, press M to place a marker there and drag the event to the new track and it will snap to the marker (be sure snapping is enabled).
