mp3 format

I downloaded some sounds/music in mp3 format. When I go into the explorer tab where all my other sounds/effects are, the folder with the mp3 files doesn't show anything. I use Vegas 7. Does Vegas not allow mp3 files?

You can use mp3s in Vegas. Did you put them in the folder while Vegas was opened? If so, you need to refresh your explorer.

I noticed that the folders were zipped, but I could open them and play the files using WMP so I didn't think much about it. I then extracted them and Vegas then recognized them and worked okay.
